Leeds City-Wide District Heating

Project Overview

Sweco was commissioned to undertake the role of Independent Certifier to support the delivery of the Leeds City-Wide District Heating Network project, one of the UK’s largest Heat Networks. 

This involved a pre-construction review of health and safety onsite, ensuring regulations were followed. A further element of the role was to review construction drawings and carry out regular site inspections of the Energy Centre, Multi Storey Flats and Spine Distribution System throughout the construction stage. Following construction, Sweco attended and approved functional and performance testing.
